At Tandym, we know that success is a team sport, and every month, we take a moment to recognize one standout player who goes above and beyond. Our Teammate of the Month isn’t just someone who gets the job done; they embody our values, uplift those around them, and make a lasting impact. Get to know Victoria Levy, our VP of Operations Solutions and Tandym’s Teammate of the Month for December 2025!
I grew up in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn, in a lively two-family house with my mom, dad, sister, and a whole crew of animals. My grandparents lived downstairs, so it was always busy and full of life.
In high school, my family moved to New Jersey. I was 16, and going from the city to the suburbs was a big change for me. My parents knew it wouldn’t be easy to convince us to go, so they bought us a trampoline. If you scroll through my old photos from that time, a majority of them have me on that trampoline.
Today, I live in Manalapan, New Jersey, with my husband, our two kids, our dog Stevie Nicks, and our guinea pig Waffles. It might sound cliché, but it truly is a wonderful place to raise a family. I’m a hard-working, music-loving, competitive athlete. Just a proud mom of two amazing kids, a devoted friend and sister, a skincare enthusiast, and someone who’s always grateful and ready to dance.
I’m definitely a savory person. If I ever have sweets, I have to end the night with something salty. For example, if I eat chocolate, you can bet I’m finishing the evening with a handful of pretzels.

I’ve always believed that inspiration comes from all around us. Growing up, I didn’t have just one hero or role model. Every person I crossed paths with, whether it was someone I admired or someone who challenged me, taught me something important. I learned from the kindness of friends, the hard lessons from difficult people, and the everyday examples of strength and resilience in my family. All of those experiences helped shape the person I am today.
If my dog could talk, she’d have the voice of Stevie Nicks. It’s only fitting since it’s her namesake. The first thing she’d say about me is that I am totally obsessed with her. I don’t think she’d share all my secrets because I do, in fact, have long conversations where I tell her everything and anything. But I think she’d at least mention that she’s treated amazingly like she’s the queen of the house, because that she is!

I’ve got some pretty random party tricks, like being able to pick my nose with my toes. I’m not sure how useful that is, but it definitely gets a reaction. Beyond that, I don’t know if it’s a hidden talent, but I really enjoy competing in Tough Mudders and other obstacle challenges. I’ve completed more than 20 of them. My nephew once asked me why I do these crazy challenges, and I never had a good answer. Then my daughter told him, “She does it for the glory,” so now that’s my official reason.
I also have a talent for overthinking things like no one else, though that might be more of a burden than a hidden talent!
If you’re from New Jersey, you’ll totally understand this one: the grassy stretch right outside The Stone Pony in Asbury Park. You can pull up a beach chair, catch live music, enjoy the ocean breeze, and snack on some amazing Korean tacos (my absolute favorite).
Another underrated experience I love is being on the top deck of a cruise ship in the middle of the ocean at sunrise. Absolutely magical!

I didn’t exactly go looking for Tandym, but in a way, the timing was perfect. Early in my career, I worked as an office manager for Jim O’Hagan, Pat O’Hagan’s brother, which was my first real step into staffing and involved things like reviewing contracts. It really got my feet wet in the industry. After that, I stayed in staffing and really grew into the work.
When Tandym came into the picture, I was ready for a change. I had been at my previous firm for ten years, and although I was comfortable there, I wasn’t growing anymore. My kids were older, I had more flexibility, and it felt like the right moment to take a leap. Honestly, I hadn’t interviewed in a decade, so the idea of making a move was intimidating.
A friend told me to trust my gut, even though I always joke that I can’t trust anything because of my awesome ability to overthink things. But I took a deep breath and decided to follow that advice. Within a day, I had two offers in hand, and then I got a call from Dave Muller and Tandym. It just felt right, so I followed my gut, and I’m really glad I did!
Everyone’s probably expecting me to say Fleetwood Mac or Stevie Nicks, but I have to be honest: I’d want a little bit of everything. I’d plan a tour where I’d spend a few states with Fleetwood Mac, then hop off and jump on Post Malone’s tour bus for a few days. And then by the time we go to the West Coast, I’d link up with Dirty Heads for the reggae vibes that I would need.
I know that sounds like I completely hijacked the question for my own musical agenda, and I totally did. But you know me and the eclectic variety of music I have in my life.

When I heard my name, I was honestly shocked. It happened on the first day of my kids’ holiday break, so they were home with me. As Dave started talking about someone who has worn multiple hats and contributed in meaningful ways, I thought, “Hmm, that could be me.” Then he announced my name.
I unplugged my laptop and sprinted to my daughter’s room to show her the slide. She gave me this look of pride that she only ever makes when she’s genuinely proud of someone, and it actually brought me to tears. Being able to share that moment with my kids in real time felt so perfect and meaningful. Just a bit of a surreal experience, and I appreciate the recognition so much.
I also loved the slide at the Town Hall recognizing everyone who had been nominated all year. People should know that their coworkers see them and appreciate them.
If the zombie apocalypse hit Tandym, I’d want a team that can plan smart, stay calm, and keep the vibes high. First, I’d bring Mike Potenza. Mike is super detail‑oriented and isn’t afraid to poke holes in a plan until he knows it’s solid. That kind of critical thinking is exactly what you want when you’re planning a mission for survival.
Next, I’d choose Dawn Newton. Dawn is brilliant at breaking down problems and figuring out the best path forward. She always collaborates with me on projects, and we always manage to find common ground to make anything work. She’s a calm, level‑headed problem solver who can help us decide where to go and what to prioritize.
Last, I’d bring Eddie Rivera because in a dire situation, you need someone who brings energy and good vibes. Plus, knowing every dive in Manhattan definitely would come in handy during a time like that. We’d have strategy, smarts, and spirit, a pretty great combo for surviving anything.

I want to take our operations to the next level by helping make everything we do even more proactive and efficient. My goals include improving how we operate so that every piece of the process is clear and connected, and everyone understands how things move from start to finish.
I’m focused on making our operational workflows stronger, especially around onboarding, offboarding, and compliance. This means ensuring our processes are smooth and well‑organized for both clients and candidates, that expectations are clear, and that we’re aligned legally and operationally every step of the way. I want us to continue building strong client and candidate experiences while staying efficient and compliant.
Ultimately, my goal is to help implement a strategic operational playbook that becomes our go‑to resource for how things get done. Pretty much a clear, dependable guide for our teams and for Tandym’s continued success.
If I had to pick a completely useless superpower, I think I’d choose the ability to talk to animals. Maybe I’d even become a “vet translator” who helps pets unwind and provides emotional support after a long day. I’m pretty sure I just changed another question again, didn’t I?
